Introduction 簡介
In November of 2022, the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) of Taiwan approved the establishment of the San Diego Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning (SD-TCML) to promote Mandarin teaching and learning in San Diego. This is the first Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning (TCML) in San Diego, the opening ceremony was on June 10, 2023.
2022 年 11 月，經中華民國僑務委員會審核評鑑成立【聖地牙哥北郡華語文學習中心】，開設成人班，教授主流人士學習華語文。中心於 2023年 6月 10日，由駐洛杉磯台北經濟文化辦事處紀欽耀處長、橙縣華僑文教中心蕭蓓如主任共同揭牌，正式成立，成為聖地牙哥第一所台灣華語文學習中心。
Courses 課程特色
The Center offers classes to adults (18 years and over). Textbooks used in the program are “Let’s Learn Mandarin”, “Speak Mandarin in 500 Words”, and “Speak Mandarin in 1000 Words”, published by the OCAC of Taiwan, and accompanied with “theme based” topics. The course curriculum includes daily life conversation, Chinese culture, customs, festivals … etc. Students are not only learning the language, but also understanding Taiwan culture.
本中心課程以中華民國僑務委員會編印之《來！學華語》、《五百字說華語》及《一千字說華語》教材，配合主題式教學，並適時介紹中國節慶及文化，並邀請社區主流人士參與並體驗台灣文化及節慶活動，讓學生不但學習語言也能了解優質的台灣文化。
